Navigate and search the dashboard
Where each product lives, how search finds a record by name, and how to change the appearance.
The dashboard puts every product behind one row of tabs. Above them sits a header carrying the organization switcher, a search box, and your profile picture. An organization is the workspace that owns your machines, people, and data, and its identifier is the first segment of every URL you will see in the address bar.
Everything on this page assumes you are signed in.
The product navigation
The tab row holds eight products: Assets, Production, Maintain, Inventory, Messaging, Devices, Integrations, and Logs. Selecting a tab keeps you in the organization you are already in.
The product navigation. A product missing from your nav usually means a role gate, not a bug.
Members and Settings are not tabs. Member avatars and a gear icon sit at the right of the header, next to your profile picture.
Where things live
Routes below are written without the leading organization segment, so /assets appears in the address bar as /<organization>/assets.
| Route | Product | Documented at |
|---|---|---|
/assets | Assets | Assets overview |
/production | Production | Production overview |
/maintenance | Maintain | Maintain overview |
/inventory | Inventory | Inventory overview |
/chats | Messaging | Messaging overview |
/devices | Devices | View your devices |
/integrations | Integrations | Alerts overview |
/logs | Logs | Audit log |
/members | Members | Manage members |
/settings/organization | Organization settings | Administration overview |
/settings/user | Your profile | Your profile |
/settings/billing | Billing | Billing |
A product you cannot reach? That is a role gate, not a bug. Integrations stays visible but grayed out for anyone who is not an Owner or an Administrator, and hovering it says so. See Roles reference.
Global search
The search box in the middle of the header searches the organization you are currently in. Results appear as you type, grouped by the type of record, each row carrying a name and a short line of detail. Selecting a result opens that record.
Global search returns results grouped by type: machines, parts, people, work orders.
Use global search when you know the name of a machine, part, or person. Use the filters on a product page when you know the shape of the answer but not its name, for example every downtime longer than 20 minutes on the press line.
Search is web-only. The mobile app searches within a section rather than across the organization.
A query that matches nothing returns No search results found. Search matches on names, so a machine you know by its serial number may only answer to the name someone gave it in Add an asset.
Dark mode
The sun and moon switch in the header changes the theme. It applies immediately, with no reload.
Your choice is stored on your account rather than in the browser, so it follows you to another browser or another computer. Signing in on a new machine brings the theme with you.
Dark mode is stored on your account, so it follows you to another browser.
Your profile menu
Your profile picture at the far right of the header opens a menu showing your name and email, then Profile, Billing, Operator View, and Sign out.
Operator View turns the dashboard into a full-screen page for one machine, meant for a screen on the floor rather than a desk. Leaving it uses Exit Operator View in the same menu. See Operator View.
You do not need Operator View at a desk. It removes the product tabs on purpose, so an operator working one machine cannot wander into billing.
The profile menu holds the Operator View toggle and your account settings.
On mobile
The app carries five sections rather than eight: Assets, Production, Messaging, Maintain, and a fifth tab for your account, called Settings on iOS and More on Android. Devices, Inventory, Integrations, and Logs are web-only.
Switching organizations moves to a drawer on Android and a modal on iOS. See Switch between organizations.
