Want a price before the demo?
All four publish prices on their own sites.[13],[39],[46] Amper’s pricing page is a custom quote, with hardware, onboarding, training and support in it.[1]

Running older or mixed machines?
A sensor reads a 1990s lathe or a manual mill from the outside. Amper: “If a machine uses power, Amper can monitor it.”[2]

Want maintenance and spare parts in one system?
Maintain and Inventory come on the same platform. Amper sells maintenance management as an add-on module, and inventory stays in the ERP it feeds.[2],[3]

IoTFlows - 04
Need a schedule for the floor?
All three sell scheduling as an add-on module.[3],[22] IoTFlows’ Production Scheduler adds automatic sequencing to drag and drop.

Want hardware built for the job?
IoTFlows designs its sensors, firmware and all. Evocon and Vorne name themselves maker of their devices.[45],[52] Amper’s own pages don’t name the maker of its sensors.[3]

Need controller data too?
MachineMetrics and Datanomix read CNC controls natively.[20],[32] IoTFlows adds MTConnect, OPC UA and more on Enterprise, beside the sensor. Amper lists PLC integrations.[3]

Why shops look
Why shops look past Amper in its own words.
- No price on its site. Its pricing page is a custom quote.[1]
- A trial with conditions. Its free trial validates hardware on 2 machines; the pilot asks for an executive sponsor, a project owner and interest in scaling to 25+ machines.[4]
- Modules on top. Scheduling, the operator interface, issue management and maintenance management are add-on modules.[3]
- Quality by hand. Operators capture downtime, scrap and setups on a touchscreen.[3]
- Spare parts elsewhere. Inventory appears only as ERP data it feeds.[2]
When to stay: shops already running an ECI ERP such as JobBOSS² or M1 that want monitoring from the same company, with ERP integrations in every plan.[3],[5]

Any machine, with maintenance and parts built in
A SenseAi attaches magnetically in seconds and calibrates in under five minutes, on any machine of any age, and counts parts from the same sensor. Maintenance work orders, spare parts and the Production Scheduler run on the same platform.
Price: SenseAi $149 per machine, once, and Pro at $119 a month billed monthly, less on longer terms. Controller data through the edge device on Enterprise.

How to pilot
Test an alternative on the machines you already run.
- The same machines, the same shifts. Pick a cell that mixes old and new machines, and include the one everybody argues about.
- Two weeks of both numbers. Compare uptime and part counts side by side, shift by shift.
- Check the reasons on the floor. Walk the top three downtime reasons with the operators who logged them.
- Count the work around it. Note what still needs a spreadsheet, a second login or an IT ticket.
An IoTFlows pilot runs on 10 to 25 machines for four weeks, with no commitment to buy.
Customer story
Jesel answers machine issues in minutes, not days
Jesel builds valvetrain components on precision CNC machines in Lakewood, New Jersey, and reads its dashboard every morning.
- Minutes
- to respond to an issue, down from hours or days
- 100%
- cycle time accuracy, actual against the bill of material
- Daily
- OEE and utilization on every CNC machine
Challenge
Jesel ran capable CNC machines but couldn’t see how well each one was performing. The cycle times in its bills of material were taken on faith, and setup or tooling problems surfaced only after they had caused scrap or rework.
Solution
SenseAi on every CNC machine puts OEE and utilization on one dashboard, shift by shift. The team compares actual cycle times with the bills of material every day and catches deviations while they can still be fixed.
Products
SenseAi, with ideal cycle times set per operation.

“The IoTFlows Machine Sensors continue to provide us with valuable real-time data that we rely on to measure machine utilization and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). The dashboard has become an essential tool in our daily operations.”
MiRus raised efficiency over 20% and ties every job in its ERP to the machining behind it.
Questions people ask
Amper machine monitoring, made by Amper Technologies and now sold by ECI Software Solutions, which announced the acquisition on December 9, 2025; amper.xyz now leads to ECI’s Amper pages. Other companies use the Amper name; none of them is compared here.
It depends on what your shop needs beyond machine state. IoTFlows designs its own sensors, reads any machine, and adds maintenance work orders, spare-parts inventory and a production scheduler, with published prices (Pro is $119 per machine a month billed monthly). Guidewheel and FourJaw clip current sensors onto the power cables with prices on their own pages; MachineMetrics and Datanomix read CNC controls; Evocon publishes per-machine OEE pricing; Vorne XL sells one line’s monitor outright.
ECI publishes no Amper price: its pricing page is a custom quote that includes hardware, onboarding, training and support. IoTFlows is $149 per SenseAi, once, plus a subscription per machine: Pro is $119 a month billed monthly, less on annual and three-year terms.
Amper’s free trial validates hardware on 2 machines, and its page asks for an executive sponsor, a project owner and interest in scaling to 25 or more machines. An IoTFlows pilot runs on 10 to 25 machines for four weeks at published prices, with no commitment to buy, on the same sensors you keep afterwards.
IoTFlows includes maintenance work orders and spare-parts inventory in the same platform as monitoring: Maintain opens a work order from a downtime, an event, a meter or a request, and Inventory moves the parts when it closes. Amper sells maintenance management as an add-on module, and its pages show inventory only as ERP data it feeds.
ECI’s Amper pages describe non-invasive electrical sensors on encrypted cellular but do not name who makes them. IoTFlows designs SenseAi, SenseAi Embedded and BeamTracker itself, the electronics, housing and firmware, with signed updates over the air.
A SenseAi attaches magnetically in seconds and calibrates in under five minutes, mounted on the outside of the machine with no connection to the control, the PLC or the electrical cabinet, so IoTFlows can run beside Amper during a pilot: 10 to 25 machines for four weeks, with no commitment to buy.
Each company is rated from 0 to 10 on ten criteria (cost, time to first data, machine versatility, controller data, setup and IT effort, scheduling, maintenance work orders, spare-parts inventory, own hardware and published pricing) on one written rubric, using only facts from its own website, docs and price pages. Your weights decide how much each rating counts: the score is the weighted average of the ratings, times ten. The rubric and the fact behind every rating are on the page, with sources.
