Limble alternatives, compared from each vendor’s own pages
Five options for maintenance teams weighing Limble, scored on what your team cares about, starting with who supplies the sensors. Every rating rests on the company’s own published facts.
Filters drawn from each company’s ratings below, from its own published facts.
The short answer
Which alternative fits your team? Start with who supplies the sensors.
- 01
Sensors from the same company?
Both sell their own sensors with the software.[25] “Limble doesn’t sell sensors”; its help center sends you to buy Monnit’s and install them yourself.[6],[9]

Downtime recorded on its own?
Both record stops from the machine.[36] In Limble, a technician enters downtime when completing a task.[5]

Sensors in the box, not a second vendor
We design SenseAi, SenseAi Embedded and BeamTracker ourselves, and they report into the same platform as the work orders, so a stop, a meter or a falling health score opens the job in Maintain without a second vendor to call.

Why teams look
Why teams look past Limble in its own words.
- Sensors from someone else. “Limble doesn’t sell sensors”: buy Monnit’s, install them yourself, then ask Limble to link the account.[6],[9]
- Downtime typed in. A technician enters downtime on the task, and percentages assume 40 operating hours a week per asset unless someone changes it.[5]
- Parts not on Standard. Spare parts, meter-based PMs, offline mode, purchase orders and the API start at Premium+.[2]
- No OEE. No OEE, utilization, part counts or cycle times in the product.[2]
- Prices on a blog. The pricing page has a calculator; Standard $28 and Premium+ $69 per user a month are on a learn article.[1],[3]
- One site per plan. Standard and Premium+ cover a single location; more sites are an Enterprise capability.[10]
When to stay: single-site teams that want calendar, meter and sensor-threshold PMs, combined so whichever comes first fires, on partner sensors they already own.[4],[11]

Every technician, one price
Maintain starts at $500 a month with unlimited users, on top of machine monitoring, with Inventory moving the parts when a work order closes. A SenseAi attaches magnetically in seconds and calibrates in under five minutes, on any machine of any age.
Price: SenseAi $149 per machine, once; the Production Scheduler from $1,500 a month.

How to pilot
Test an alternative on the machines you already run.
- The same assets, the same crew. Pick a line with a history of breakdowns, and the technicians who keep it running.
- Let the machines open the work. Count the work orders that opened from a downtime, a meter or a health alert, not from a phone call.
- Move the parts. Close each work order with the parts it used, and watch stock and reorders follow.
- Count the seats. Price the whole team at the end of the month: technicians, contractors and the people who raise requests.
An IoTFlows pilot runs on 10 to 25 machines for four weeks, with no commitment to buy.
Customer story
RNPSA halved its maintenance response time
RNPSA builds mining equipment in Matehuala, Mexico, on a fleet of critical precision machines. Today a problem on any of them reaches maintenance the moment an operator classifies the stop.
- 50%
- faster maintenance response
- Zero
- tool crashes that go unnoticed
- 100%
- of incidents on record
Challenge
A tool crash could go unnoticed until the next shift or the next inspection. When an operator did spot a problem, it passed from the shift supervisor to a note to the next shift before maintenance heard about it.
Solution
SenseAi watches every critical machine and records each shock. When an operator classifies a stop, they open the work order in the same step, and maintenance sees it at once with the machine, the time and the vibration data attached.
Products
SenseAi and Maintain.

“Add in Maintain, and suddenly operations and maintenance aren’t working in silos, we’re collaborating on the same data in real-time. That’s transformed how we manage these critical machines.”
Altium Packaging inspects the Slide Knife on its bottling lines every 100,000 bottles, with the work order opened by the count. Read the Altium Packaging story.
Questions people ask
It depends on whether you want sensors from the same company. IoTFlows runs Maintain and Inventory on the same platform as its own sensors, so downtimes, meters and health alerts open work orders, with OEE and a production scheduler, from $500 a month with unlimited users on top of machine monitoring. MaintainX, now part of Autodesk, is a phone-first CMMS with a free plan; UpKeep sells its own wireless Edge sensors; Fiix, part of Rockwell Automation, publishes the lowest per-user price; Redzone sells a CMMS module inside a coached workforce platform.
No. Its predictive maintenance page says “Limble doesn’t sell sensors”, and its help center describes buying Monnit sensors from Monnit, installing them yourself and asking Limble to link the account; Augury, AssetWatch, VibeCloud and AVEVA also integrate. IoTFlows designs SenseAi, SenseAi Embedded and BeamTracker itself, and they report into the same platform as the work orders.
Limble’s pricing page gives a price after a calculator. Its own learn article lists Standard at $28 and Premium+ at $69 per user a month, Enterprise by quote. Spare parts start at Premium+, so 10 users come to $690 a month and 25 to $1,725. IoTFlows Maintain starts at $500 a month with unlimited users, on top of machine monitoring.
Its help center says downtime is entered by a user when completing a task, and that percentages assume 40 operating hours a week per asset by default; failure codes are picked when a work order closes. IoTFlows records every stop from its own sensor, and an operator or the classification rules give it a reason.
No OEE, utilization, part counts or cycle times appear as product features on its pages. IoTFlows calculates OEE and counts parts from its own sensors, on the same platform as the work orders.
A SenseAi attaches magnetically in seconds and calibrates in under five minutes, so the machines report on day one, and a pilot runs on 10 to 25 machines for four weeks with no commitment to buy.
Each company is rated from 0 to 10 on ten criteria a maintenance team weighs (cost for 10 users, published pricing, work orders from machines, spare parts, production monitoring, machine health, production scheduling, own hardware, time to machine data, and setup and IT effort) on one written rubric, using only facts from its own website, docs and price pages. Your weights decide how much each rating counts: the score is the weighted average of the ratings, times ten.
